Pardon my wordplay fun in the title. I guess I am a little excited. The Cultured Pearl in Rehoboth Beach, DE, just announced the start of “Noodle Night” on January 8th. “Sushi Night” will remain on Mondays, don’t worry. Thursdays will offer $10 noodle dishes and my favorite, a $15 Bento Box.
You must be a Pearl Club Member, which requires a local driver’s license and a sign-up at the reception desk! Sorry out-of-towners, perhaps this gives you yet another reason to consider a move to the beach.
Here are a few of the dishes on the new menu:
Kobe Ravioli
Kobe-style beef ravioli with a wild mushroom and pea cream sauce and fresh shaved parmesan Chinese Duck Soup
egg noodles and sweet glazed duck in a vegetable studded wonton broth
Asian Curried Vegetables
Fragrant Asian curry and udon noodles with grape tomato, snow pea, scallion and straw mushrooms with fresh herbs (add jumbo lump crab or shrimp $5)
Based on the new menu, there is something for everyone. If you are a sushi lover, you already know how good the Pearl’s sushi chefs are in their craft. Use this night as an excuse to try out what the chefs and cooks in the kitchen are creating….you won’t be dissappointed. Call ahead for a reservation.
